Thomas Lowisz
Sr Product Manager, APM Reliability & SmartSignal, Power Generation and Oil & Gas, GE Digital
Thomas is the Product Manager for GE Digital’s APM Reliability and SmartSignal products, driving the vision, strategy, and product roadmap investments. With over 13 years of experience in the predictive analytics space, he has worked with customers across the power generation, oil & gas, mining & metals, and aviation industries. Starting his career with SmartSignal who was later acquired by GE, Thomas worked in the original “monitoring and diagnostic center” which provides asset monitoring services for customers. His role included active monitoring of analytics and weekly calls with plant managers/reliability groups to investigate findings and provide recommendations on mitigating actions. Later Thomas moved to the United Kingdom working hands on at customer facilities implementing software, helping customers improve their data and scaling their asset coverage. Thomas graduated from Milwaukee School of Engineering with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.

William Lutz
Sr. Product Manager: Operations Performance Management - Performance Intelligence, GE Digital
Billy is the Principal Digital Product Manager responsible for delivering customer operational efficiency through digital solutions providing visibility, insights and actionable recommendations on power system and equipment performance. With over 30 years of power systems & energy industry experience across operations, engineering, product and services, Billy brings a wealth of expertise and credibility to the plant performance product segment. He started his career serving in US Navy submarine nuclear power operations and training, and he holds a nuclear engineering degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Aaron Larson
Executive Editor, POWER magazine
Aaron Larson joined the POWER team in September 2013 as an associate editor and was named executive editor in 2017. Aaron has a bachelor’s degree in nuclear engineering technology and a master’s degree, specializing in finance. He spent 13 years in the U.S. Navy nuclear power program, advancing to Chief Petty Officer. He has worked at commercial nuclear, biomass, and coal-fired power plants, functioning in operations, maintenance, safety, financial, and management capacities. Aaron holds a Chief A Engineer boiler operator license in the state of Minnesota.
