Commercial and industrial businesses wanting energy storage systems can today find themselves caught between two markets, often left to resort to large battery cabinets better suited to utility-scale projects. These battery cabinets take up significant floor space, tend to be complex to install and are inflexible in their capacity options, forcing businesses to over-size and therefore over-pay for storage.
Tailored for maximum flexibility, Sigenergy believes its new SigenStor battery can fill the C&I market gap, catering to a wide range of applications. Most importantly, adopting a modular design concept, customers can match the system’s capacity to their exact requirements as SigenStor adopts a modular design concept and provides two interchangeable battery sizes, 5 kWh and 8 kWh, that can be stacked and connected in parallel for up to 960 kWh of storage within one array.
SigenStor battery systems can also be easily installed, expanded, and retrofitted to existing solar systems – making them uniquely dynamic.
The SigenStor five-in-one battery combines its battery pack with an energy management system, solar inverter, battery power conversion system and bi-directional EV charging all within one box that is intelligently managed using artificial intelligence (AI).
This AI integration offers a host of benefits to businesses, including dynamic electricity pricing and Virtual Power Plant (VPP) integration – all of which will be discussed during this pv magazine webinar.
Armando Salazar, Sigenergy’s Technical Director for South Europe, will demonstrate SigenStor’s additional features by way of a deep dive into the company’s largest commercial installation to date. We will be also joined by Dan-Eric Archer, CEO of CheckWatt, and Robert Lee, electrical engineer, project designer, inspector, educator and CTO at Aprilice.
Of course, the session will include an interactive Q&A session where attendees will be able to pose specific questions to Sigenergy’s representatives, among others.
