Matthew has been in the Security Industry for over thirty years and is a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) through ASIS International. He is a licensed Investigator in multiple states and holds a Florida State “C” License. Matthew previously worked for ABM Security/Elite Protection for more than 12 years, overseeing strategic operations for the Southeastern United States as well as serving as one of the ABM/Elite Subject Matter Experts.
Matthew’s prior experience includes key Executive Positions for both Regional and National Security Companies serving multiple vertical markets and playing a leadership role in a variety of capacities including sales, operations, acquisitions and investigations. In 1988, Matthew became a partner in Atlantic Security. Prior to the sale of the company 12 years later, as the Chief Operating Officer he helped Atlantic Security grow from a single branch office to a strong East Coast company operating 22 branch offices in 7 States.
He served in a Part-Time Law Enforcement capacity in Massachusetts and was President of his graduating Police Academy Class. Recognized by his Security Colleagues, Matthew earned the nomination for Chapter Chair, Lehigh Valley ASIS and served as a volunteer board member for several years.
Herb Brychta is a strong leader with extensive experience spanning Security, Anti-Terrorism, Emergency Management, and Workplace Safety. Having experience in the military, healthcare sector, and private industry, in capacities ranging from company command to small group leadership, he brings years of experience preparing for evolving emergency situations and deploying measures to mitigate impact. Experience includes assessment of over 10 million SF of facilities for security and continuity of operations in addition to workplace safety evaluations which have saved employers $2 billion in costs.
