An informative webinar presented by
Braumiller Law Group Mexico Legal Counsel
Brenda Cordova
On June 3rd, 2020, the Mexican Minister of Economy published an interim English version of the Uniform Regulations with the intention of informing the trade industry about the procedures and requirements for the interpretation, application, and administration of Chapter 4, 5, 6 and 7 of the Free Trade Agreement signed between the United States, Mexico and Canada (USMCA / TMEC).
The Mexican government announced that its publication serves as guidance only, as it may still be updated on or before July 1st, 2020. According to this, it is expected that the day this webinar takes place, we should have in our hands the final and official version of the USMCA / TMEC Uniform Regulations for Mexico.
This webinar will cover the updated structure of the Uniform Regulations in regard to:
• Origin Verification Procedures
• Origin Procedures
• Customs Administration and Trade Facilitation
• Rules of Origin
• Automotive Goods
Who should attend:
Producers, exporters, importers of goods distributed in Mexico, Canada and the United States, as well as anyone interested in learning how the new USMCA / TMEC rules may impact their business.
