John Doyle is a senior vice president focused on defined contribution in the Retirement Strategy Group at American Funds, part of Capital Group. He has 28 years of investment industry experience and joined Capital Group in 2013. Prior to joining Capital, John was executive vice president and chief marketing officer for Hartford Investment Management Company. Before that, he worked as head of marketing and product at T. Rowe Price Retirement Plan Services and as a vice president of marketing at Fidelity Investments. John is a frequent speaker on issues and topics important to the success of the DC retirement system. He holds an MBA from the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Georgetown University.

Jonathan Young is a senior national accounts manager at Capital Group, home of American Funds. He has 30 years of investment industry experience and has been with Capital Group for 27 years. Prior to joining Capital, Jonathan was an investment representative with PaineWebber. He holds a bachelor’s degree in speech communication from Old Dominion University. He also holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® and Professional Plan Consultant® designations. Jonathan is based in Chesapeake, Va.
National Sales Director – Retirement Plans, Capital Group / American Funds
Michael Bockstie is national sales director for retirement plans at Capital Group, home of American Funds. He has 30 years of investment industry experience and has been with Capital Group for 13 years. Earlier in his career at Capital, Mike was a senior manager of national accounts for wires and regionals and before that, a division manager and a retirement plan counselor. Prior to joining Capital, he was a vice president and regional retirement director for DWS Scudder. He holds a master’s degree in finance from Loyola College in Maryland and a bachelor’s degree in finance and marketing from the University of Maryland. Mike is based in Forest Hill, Md.
