Decentralization is a core tenet, and one of the fundamental innovations, of cryptocurrencies. That innovation does not easily transfer to the law, however, which historically looks to determine the rights and obligations of identifiable parties in identifiable places. We will be addressing illustrative regulatory and civil developments and strategies that shine a light on this aspect of cryptocurrency litigation and cases.
