To advance health equity it is critical to ensure participation of individuals from diverse backgrounds take part in clinical research. Participants in clinical trials should represent the patients that will ultimately use the medical products. Unfortunately, participants from racial and ethnic minorities are often underrepresented in clinical research.

This interactive panel discussion featuring leaders from across the life sciences industry will explore how the lack of diversity impacts clinical research today, current barriers hindering more equitable access to and participation in trials, recent approaches that have been taken to try to overcome these barriers and what role data and technology can play to improve diversity.
