Nancy Walker is the Chief Commercial Officer of SmartSky Networks, LLC., responsible for the Marketing and Sales functions of the company.
Walker is an aviation industry veteran with more than 30 years of aerospace technology and IFC experience. She most recently served as a senior portfolio manager for Leonardo DRS, where she was responsible for acquisition and execution of a large $100M+ assortment of programs in support of ruggedized network computing systems for U.S. defense and international military customers. Previously, Walker held various positions of increasing responsibility in technical, programmatic, leadership, and business development areas at NASA, Harris, LiveTV, and Thales.
Walker will lead SmartSky’s network-related sales and marketing efforts across various verticals, including business and commercial aviation.
Walker holds a Master of Science in engineering management and Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from Florida Institute of Technology. She holds the Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification and resides in Melbourne, FL
With 25 years of experience in the ATi, Alexis has extensive knowledge of aviation communications and IT solutions.
Currently Head of Aviation Product Marketing, responsible for the IMS Commercial and Business Aviation portfolios, Alexis has held a number of key positions within the company over the last 20 years, including Head of Global Business Development establishing Collins’ market position for In Flight Connectivity services, Regional Sales Director in the Middle East, and Director of the EMEA IMS Aviation Solutions BU. Before ARINC, Alexis was at SITA in Sales & Account Management.
John Peterson is the leader of the Honeywell Connected Enterprise’s (HCE) software and services portfolio. The portfolio includes a global offering of innovative enterprise software solutions, cabin services and connectivity enabling products that are simplifying the end-to-end solutions that are connecting aircrafts and passengers. Since launch of GoDirect cabin services in November of 2016, John rapidly grew the business from non-existent to the second largest provider of cabin services in the bizjet market beating 20 year incumbents in the space. He is now expanding this cabin services offering into Global Air Transport market launching Smartsky Air to Ground in the US market with Inmarsat GX services globally bringing the advantages of low cost data pipes and powerful analytics to provide airlines competitive advantage. John drove and integrated agile scale development process that consistently releases updates and new offerings every 8-15 weeks making Honeywell an innovation leader in software services aerospace. John has expanded the Honeywell software offering by launching Honeywell Forge enterprise software platform to become one of aviation's largest and most sophisticated data analytics tool serving global airline and defense markets with the broadest offering of efficiency, optimization, maintenance and safety analytics.
Prior to Honeywell, John was Director of Product Marketing at Satcom Direct and Rockwell Collins. At Satcom Direct the portfolio of hardware and services was $180M and grew at 25%. At Rockwell Collins the portfolio included commercial products in BGA/ATR markets, $1.3B at 9% CAGR.
John has a BSME from University of Arizona, Masters of Engineering Management from Washington State and EMBA from University of Iowa.
