Join the Polite Education Team as we learn from expert guest, Trey Reckling, founder and director of the Academy of Cannabis Science, an online learning platform and community that has trained thousands of industry staff, healthcare professionals, patients, and enthusiasts since 2015.

The Academy is forging the path to getting science-based cannabis education and curriculum recognized higher learning institutions, including certifications with UNLV, Seattle Central College, South Seattle College, Highline College, and the Muckleshoot Tribal College.

Trey Reckling
Founder, Academy of Cannabis Science
Trey has been working in higher education for the last 20 years where he has specialized in staff training, student development, conflict resolution and crisis management. He founded the Academy of Cannabis Science in 2015 and has helped train and prepare Cannabis industry professionals and students from throughout the US and Canada, with a deep commitment to fostering community and continuing education in this emergent field.

He has served on the board of directors for the Washington Marijuana Association and currently serves on the board at the Cannabis Alliance where he leads the education committee. Trey has published dozens of cannabis education articles in publications like Men’s Health, Salon.com, Out.com, the Chicago Tribune, the New York Daily News and a variety of other trade journals.
