Lori Jackson is the President of White Raven Security. She has over 20 years of experience in cybersecurity compliance, cyber engineering, and corporate governance. Over the past five years, Lori has worked with companies to prepare their information systems in accordance with NIST SP 800-171 and preparing for CMMC compliance. Lori is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), CMMC Certified Assessor (CCA), CMMC Certified Professional (CCP), and Registered Practitioner (RP). She serves as the SAME Resilience Community of Interest Vice Chair for Cyber.
Director of Cybersecurity Practice, NC State University
Laura Rodgers is the Director of Cybersecurity Practice in the Department of Computer Science at North Carolina State University, acting as the technical liaison between industry, government agencies, and the Secure Computing Institute. She is also the Director of the North Carolina Partnership for Cybersecurity Excellence (NC-PaCE), a coalition of educational institutions, government, and industry working together to meet the cybersecurity needs of North Carolina while strengthening and advancing the state’s cybersecurity ecosystem.
Prior to joining NC State, Ms. Rodgers was the Sr. Cyber Compliance Manager for the North Carolina Military Business Center, where she developed training programs for defense contractors to help them build their cybersecurity compliance programs.
She has held a variety of business operations and governance, risk, and compliance positions in the defense industry, including Lockheed Martin’s MX and Titan Missile Programs and General Dynamics Information Technology’s urban training programs.
Ms. Rodgers also serves on the advisory boards for the University of North Carolina Wilmington Center for Cyber Defense Education and the University of North Carolina Pembroke Cyber Defense Education Center.
Ms. Rodgers holds a B.S in Accounting and an MBA from Oklahoma State University, and is a Certified Data Protection Specialist.
