Join Tamara von Werthern, Performing Rights Manager at Nick Hern Books, for a step-by-step guide through the entire process of finding, applying for and licensing your next production. Drawing on her more than fifteen years' experience of licensing school productions and helping teachers find the right to play to suit their requirements, Tamara will discuss how and where to start your search, things to bear in mind when making your selections, and what help is available. She will also demystify what happens behind the scenes after your application has been received (and why the answer is sometimes 'no'), as well as exploring some of the different staging options that have sprung up during lockdown, including live-streaming and broadcasting recorded work.
There is not handout for this session.
