Many generations may recall their tax education stopping around the Boston Tea Party. In this session for K-12 educators, we will be joined by our partners at Intuit to take a deeper look at how the Tax Simulation, our student-centered learning experience, was designed to provide high school students with the knowledge and skills they need to file their taxes for themselves and also for their families using a real-world tool.

Heather Miller is a Regional Director for EVERFI. Heather received her Bachelors of Science in Finance from Missouri State University and a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Central Missouri. She was an educator for many years in Secondary, Adult, and Higher Education. Heather joined EVERFI in 2016, and is excited to bring all of EVERFI’s resources to all classrooms and educational settings. She partners with schools where she facilitates professional development, provides ongoing support, and shares data with schools and districts about the impact of EVERFI’s resources.
