If you haven't heard the news yet, the U.S. Department of Labor has amended the FLSA to the tune of affecting just about every employer in the United States.
On December 1, 2016, there are some very important parts of the law that employers will be subject to, including:
1. Minimum salary for exempt employees increased to $47,476 per year.
2. Clarity how incentive compensation impacts satisfying the minimum threshold.
3. Highly Compensated Employee threshold increased to $134,004 per year.
