Caroline Manik is a licensed Professional Engineer with CDM Smith in Fairfax, Virginia. She spent four years at the US Army Corps of Engineers Institute for Water Resources before joining CDM Smith in June. A majority of her experience is in climate risk planning and modeling. At IWR she focused on hydraulic and hydrologic modeling for national and international watersheds with an end goal of flood management and decision making. She utilized Collaborative Risk Informed Decision Analysis (CRIDA) and Shared Vision Planning (SVP) to address uncertainty in the future, take a bottom-up approach, and ensure decisions are made collaboratively.
