The first point of contact for the website, her role includes:
· Setting standards and writing guidelines for content editors, based on current best practice, including WCAG 2.1, Plain English and SEO
· Overseeing content published on the website
· Training and supporting staff in all aspects of web publishing, including Word, Excel and PDF accessibility
· Leading on website upgrades
· Working with a small team to determine new website functionality, improve existing online processes and design new, end-to-end online processes, moving services to the online channel
· Carrying out user testing with members of the community, analysing results and implementing changes where required
· Working with third party suppliers to the website: ensuring coherent branding, improving user journeys, and highlighting accessibility issues
