Bio
After leaving Watson's in 1998, Sukai went on to study Law and French at the University of Edinburgh after which Sukai went on to achiev her Diploma in Legal Practice. After completing her training contract with Shepherd & Wedderburn, Sukai went on to complete a Masters and graduated with an LLM in International Human Rights Law at the School of Oriental and African Studies in London. Following this, Sukai relocated to Strasbourg to begin the role of assistant lawyer at the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) where she worked on cases brought against the UK. In 2012 Sukai was promoted to Legal Advisor for the Court to the Directorate General of Administration of the Council of Europe, which is the parent body to the ECtHR. Sukai's most recent projects have included drafting policies on dignity and respect at work and on diversity and non-discrimination.
