Megan Dubee is a high school math (and theology) teacher at the Academy of the Holy Names in Tampa, Florida. After more than ten years in the classroom, she has transformed the student experience of learning from one of passivity to active engagement in complex problem-solving. In the midst of this transition, she recognized how her own introversion would have left her uncomfortable with this classroom dynamic. Since reading Quiet by Susan Cain she has worked to utilize a multitude strategies for engaging introverts in the active classroom and shares them eagerly with a wide variety of educators.
