Bio
Geoff qualified as a veterinarian in 2008, and worked for two years in rural mixed practice. He returned to university to specialise in animal reproduction, obtaining an MMedVet (gyn) in 2015 and a PhD in 2020. He worked as a clinician at the Faculty of Veterinary Science at Onderstepoort from 2011 to 2023. He started Bestbred in 2024 to follow his interest in reproductive biology and assisted reproduction. Geoff is an experienced clinician, teacher and researcher. He is a creative problem solver who enjoys identifying, investigating and writing
about issues in animal health and reproduction.
Geoff is married to Dr Megan Brown. In his spare time he enjoys reading, woodworking and road running.
