Theresa Hickey is Director of Educator Preparation Programs and Assistant Professor of Research, STEM, & Foundations in the College of Education and Counseling at Saint Martin’s University. Current work focuses on Social Justice and advancing equity in the preparation of future educators. Research interests include statistics, math and science education, especially as they intersect with language, and all aspects of teacher preparation. Also involved in curriculum writing, educational data analysis, and program evaluation for district/school initiatives and programs. Fun includes creating and running school/community celebrations where robots and math run wild!
