Head Principal, Wuhan Yangtze International School
Bio
Erika is Head Principal at Wuhan Yangtze International School, a part of International Schools Consortium, operating seven schools in China and one in the United Arab Emirates. She moved to Wuhan in 2007 with a desire for a bit of new, a curiosity for travel, and a degree to teach English. The city’s tagline, “Different Every Day”, fits her enthusiasm to help build dynamic schools for mobile environments, where students from around the world can experience growth and a sense of home in their transitions. She holds an MEd in curriculum and is completing an EdD in School Improvement with a focus on educational leadership. When not at school, she is learning local recipes or is out exploring with the growing trail running community in China.
