Dr Mahibur Rahman is a portfolio GP in Birmingham. His clinical work has included roles as a GP partner and a locum, community drug and alcohol detox, prison GP, sexual health and global / humanitarian medicine, having been on deployment to Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Greece and Bangladesh.
His non clinical portfolio includes working as a consultant in medical education, being a GMC examiner and invigilator, author for the prescribing safety assessment and OSCE examiner for Liverpool medical school. He is the medical director of Emedica and has written and taught extensively on GP careers, situational judgment tests, MSRA, MRCGP, and communication and consultation skills.
