Skills-based Hiring & Employee Development Despite hundreds of thousands spend on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives, racial discrimination in hiring decisions has not declined since 1989. In Breaking Down Biases and Barriers, you will unpack how traditional recruitment and employee development strategies, such as reliance on credentials, often reinforce barriers to marginalized candidates and employees in the hiring and advancement opportunities. You will explore how skills-based hiring and employee development challenge the structural barriers in common current practices and lead to more equitable ways to attract and retain employees.
