Arsinée Khanjian is a Canadian-Armenian award-winning actress. The winner of the Genie Award, Khanjian has proven herself to be a compelling force on-screen, enlivening the films not only of both her husband Atom Egoyan (Calendar, Exotica, Ararat) but also a range of celebrated directors. Khanjian is a founding advisory board member of Creative Armenia.
Atom Egoyan is an award-winning Armenian-Canadian stage and film director, writer, and producer. Egoyan's The Sweet Hereafter received two Academy Award nominations and a powerful body of work including Ararat, Exotica, Chloe, and Remember has established him as one of the visionary filmmakers of our time. Egoyan is the recipient of the Governor General's Performing Arts Award, Canada's highest royal honor in the performing arts, and has won five prizes at the Cannes Film Festival including the Grand Prix and the International Critic's Award.
Garin Hovannisian is an award-winning writer, filmmaker, and founder of Creative Armenia. He is the author of Family of Shadows and has written for The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, and The Atlantic. As a writer-director, his films include the psychological thriller 1915; I Am Not Alone, winner at TIFF, AFI Fest, and many others; and Truth to Power.
