Most organizations are not prepared for a crisis event, no matter how prepared they think they are. If you aren't prepared, what do you do during an event and after the event to improve for next time?

Forty percent of businesses do not reopen after a disaster and another 25 percent fail within one year according to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Similar statistics from the United States Small Business Administration indicate that over 90 percent of businesses fail within two years after being struck by a disaster.

The reality is ever business experiences some sort of crisis event every five years.

Jason Mefford discusses with Ralph Petti what organizations can do now while we are still in crisis mode and what to do after, including how to "re-open" and get your organizations back on track from the COVID-19 pandemic, so your organization doesn't end up in the 40% of business that could fail.
