Before transitioning to the civilian sector in 2017, developed a military career in the Air Force for 22 years, progressing through the fields of engineering, IT and Security, ultimately gaining extensive experience in Cyber Defence at the Portuguese Joint Cyber Defence Center.
Experienced in Penetration Testing, Red Team, Threat Hunting, Incident Response, Forensic Analysis, Network Management, Vulnerability Management, SIEM implementation, management and operation of Security Operation Centers (SOC), in positions ranging from practitioner to team leader and manager.
Currently a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), ISO 27001 Lead Auditor and Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP), amongst other professional certifications.
