Welcome! This lecture series is designed to help users get started on the Aurora, Northern Lights™, and Aurora CS systems. The training is divided into two big sections:
- FIRST SECTION (1st and 2nd day): Training Lecture. At the end of this section, you should understand:
• Basic theory of Full Spectrum Profiling™ and spectral unmixing
• Applying panel design concepts and best practices to achieve high-quality data
• Principles of instrument setup and data troubleshooting
Each session is interactive and builds on information from the previous session.
- SECOND SECTION (3rd day, OPTIONAL): SpectroFlo® and FCSExpress Software Demo. This section will cover the following topics:
• Introduction to the Aurora/Northern Lights™ Hardware.
• Introduction to SpectroFlo®. In this session, we will be walking you through our SpectroFlo® Software and show you how to set up and run an experiment. We will demonstrate the workflow through a live demonstration using the Cytek® cFluor™ Immunoprofiling 14C kit.
• Introduction to FCSExpress, by Andrea Valle. In this session, Andrea will show you the advanced data analysis features of FCS Express that will support you in generating publication-ready data.
You must attend the FIRST SECTION to obtain a certificate of completion. Certificate of completion can be only given to individual registrations.
Agenda
Day 1: Analyze Full Spectrum Signatures, Understand Spectral Unmixing, Understand how to select reference controls.
Day 2: Understand how to plan a multicolor experiment, understand how to optimize your panel, understand to setup the instrument for acquisition.
Day 3: System features, live SpectroFlo Demo and introduction to FCSExpress
