The future of the warfighting environment is constantly changing. From World War II and the Korean Conflict to Iraq and Afghanistan, the environments were totally different. Learning and adapting to the realities of the fight and supporting the warriors on the ground, leaders are needed that understand the environment as well as the mission and goals. All these factors together determine the Military’s acquisition requirements, and contracting priorities. In this webinar we will hear directly from the Marine Corps’ Deputy Commandant for Installations and Logistics, Lieutenant General Charles Chiarotti, who will describe how the Marine Corps is charging into the future and what it needs to get there and win.

Lieutenant General Charles Chiarotti
Deputy Commandant for Installations and Logistics
Lieutenant General Charles Chiarotti has the responsibility of alignment of resources which are vital to the lethality of the Marine Corps. He has held numerous leadership and support positions that make him the perfect Marine to be the Deputy Commandant for Installations and Logistics at this time. The General’s responsibilities include oversight of the Corps' power projection platforms and ensuring the Marines have the tools needed to project that power. As he wrote in an article last year...“the Marine Corps focus never changes, even as the fight evolves into different domains and locations.”
