Property Tax 2022: The Return on the Valuation Land Act for the creation of the Valuation Roll.

Persons in possession of residential land, commercial land, agricultural land, or a combination of any of the above (mixed-use) to access, must complete and submit their Return(s) required by the Commissioner of Valuations pursuant to Section 29 of the Valuation of Land Act, Chap. 58:03 of the Laws of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago by January 31st, 2022.

Under Section 32 of the Valuation of Land Act, failure to comply with this requirement constitutes a criminal offence that is punishable by a fine of five thousand dollars ($5,000.00).
