In the United States, Health Science professions (such as medicine, veterinary, or dentistry) and law school are graduate-level studies. If you are interested in eventually applying to these professional programs, you will need to first obtain a Bachelor's degree. Other professions with specific certifications, such as teaching and engineering, also have pre-professional programs. U.S. universities support undergraduate students with pre-professional advising and other resources to ensure they are prepared for their next steps.

Our panelists will reveal what you can expect when you pursue Pre-professional studies during your bachelor's degree.
- Pre-Health expert: Alexandra Salcedo, Boston University
- Pre-Law expert: Maddie Jacobs, University of Pennsylvania
- Pre-engineering expert: Hernan Santacruz, Beloit College
- Pre-teaching expert: Emily Ruble, Pittsburg State University
