Aaron Bixler has been involved in international education for the past twenty-seven years, including
over twenty-one years of experience in both international undergraduate and international graduate student admission at Miami University. Aaron received his Bachelor’s degree in International Studies from Miami University and also holds a Master’s degree in this same field. Aaron has been in Miami’s undergraduate Office of Admission since 2012 and currently serves as the Senior Associate Director for International Enrollment.

A.J. Williams is Director of Transfer, Athletic, & International Admission at Santa Clara University. A former first-generation college student, transfer, and athlete, A.J. enjoys working with students, families, and counselors to demystify the college search and attainment process. A.J. has worked in higher education for over 19 years, and is a published author. His most recent book, It Ain’t Rocket Science: College Counseling for Everyone, and the curriculum based on it, are utilized by students, parents, and educators throughout the country.
Dr. Kristi Marchesani, University of Northern Iowa
Director of International Recruitment and Admissions
Dr. Kristi Marchesani serves as the Director of International Recruitment and Admissions at the University of Northern Iowa (UNI). She earned her PhD in Educational Leadership from Iowa State University and both her bachelors and masters at UNI. She has worked in international admissions at UNI for the past twenty five years where she has been responsible for developing strategies to recruit international students, establishment of admission policy, and advocacy of international education on the campus. Her professional responsibilities and personal passion has allowed her to travel to over 105 countries and to visit every continent.
