About
Join us for an insightful webinar featuring Pepperdine University and the University of Minnesota - Morris, where we explore how their use of the Digital Commons Institutional Repository (DCIR) has transformed student engagement, research dissemination and institutional success. Both universities have strategically integrated the repository to support students at every stage of the acamic journey—from prospective students to undergraduates and graduates—through initiatives like research-intensive courses, symposia and electronic theses and dissertations (ETDs).

Discover how their approach fosters a culture where students become creators of knowledge, not just consumers, and how the IR enables the dissemination of student work, especially in contexts where traditional academic publication isn’t always possible.

By focusing on student success, research engagement and a commitment to creating knowledge, Pepperdine and UMN Morris offer valuable lessons that can benefit other institutions looking to enhance their academic programs and promote student scholarship.
