    Haoyong Lan is the engineering librarian at Carnegie Mellon University Libraries, where he provides library instruction, research assistance, data support, and collection development to the students, faculty, and staff. He received a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and a Master's degree in Library and Information Science both from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
