Higher education institutions are important actors in the transition towards carbon neutrality and sustainable societies, and many have taken concrete steps to address environmental sustainability at the strategic level. But drivers and approaches can be quite different across higher education institutions and systems.
The third webinar in the EUA series “Greening in European higher education institutions” will showcase key findings from EUA’s survey on greening, as well as two institutional case studies. The event will focus on links to institutional strategy and national policy, the governance and implementation of activities, as well as the expected impact. The webinar will also include a discussion on student engagement and bottom-up approaches for environmental sustainability at higher education institutions.
