Learn about and understand why dental specialists are often needed in addition to a general dentist to treat a work related dental injury. In this presentation the differences between the specialties and the various treatments each perform to bring a worker back to pre-injury status is reviewed. The presenter will explain the terminology to help claim handlers understand treatment plans and related issues with the injury. At the completion of this presentation, claim handlers will have a basic knowledge of dental specialties, what they do and the terminology.
