Welcome to this webinar on Sustainability in the insurance industry on January 31st at 1-2pm.
This webinar will be held in Swedish.
The webinar will cover:
CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive)
The EU has adopted a new directive on sustainability reporting. The application of the directive takes place in four stages:
- 2025 for companies already covered by the NFRD (Non-Financial Reporting Directive)
- 2026 for large companies not already covered by the NFRD
- 2027 for listed SMEs, small and non-complex credit institutions and insurance captives
- 2029 for non-European companies with a net turnover of EUR 150 million
The CSRD will entail stricter requirements for accounting, which may entail a major adjustment for insurance and pension companies.
SFDR (Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation)
On January 1, 2023, the delegated act belonging to the Disclosure Regulation ("SFDR") entered into force (so-called level 2 rules). The rules that have been drawn up in accordance with the regulation specify details of how the information is to be presented.
