How can IPAs contribute to gender equality through the investment they attract? Webinar #2 of Towards Gender Equality in FDI.

On Monday September 26 at 15:00 (CET), FDI Center will host a webinar on how investment promotion agencies can contribute to gender equality in society through the type of investment they attract.

IPAs are placing greater emphasis on attracting foreign direct investment that contributes to achieving the sustainable development goals, which include greater gender equality (SDG 5). The webinar will provide examples of how countries have successfully used FDI to contribute to gender equality and other sustainability objectives.

This is the second event of the Towards Gender Equality in FDI initiative launched by FDI Center. The initiative will provide practical knowledge and tools for IPAs to create opportunities for female leaders within their own organizations while contributing to greater gender equality and societal benefits through the investment they attract.

The first webinar is on: how can IPAs create an environment that supports and develops female leadership? It will take place on Thursday September 15th at 15:00 (CET).
