Alfredo is a recognised international expert on industrial emission regulations. For more than two decades Alfredo has delivered emission reduction services to public and private organisations working at the European Commission, CEPSA, and Sabic before joining Ricardo in his current role as Associate Director of Environmental Policy. Alfredo has extensive experience on Best Available Techniques mainly for chemical, refineries and power generation processes but with relevant projects also in food and textiles.

Rebecca Turner

Rebecca Turner has more than 15 years’ experience helping organisations monitor, report and manage their GHG emissions. Most recently, Rebecca supported the UK Environment Agency in its administration of Climate Change Agreements, facilitating the involvement of sectors including food and drink. Rebecca is currently working with a range of organisations, leading Ricardo’s support in mapping their journeys towards net zero.

Laura Degallaix

FoodDrinkEurope

Laura Degallaix joined FoodDrinkEurope in 2019 as the Environmental Sustainability Director. She is responsible for coordinating the work of FoodDrinkEurope’s Environmental Sustainability Committee and manages the European food and drink industry’s positions in all relevant areas such as: the circular economy, plastics and packaging, sustainable food systems, energy and resource efficiency, and climate change.
