Join us for the last FSSC Insights webinar for 2024; dedicated to the FSSC 22000 Certification Scheme. This free one-hour session focuses on the Scheme’s packaging scope and explores the critical role of packaging in product protection, reducing food loss and waste, and environmental sustainability.
The event's keynote speakers are Kelly Mulholland, FSSC Technical Manager Quality & Safety, and Nerida Kelton, Vice President Sustainability & Save Food at the World Packaging Organization (WPO). Colin Morgan, the FSSC Market Development Director, will moderate.
Kelly Mulholland will outline the FSSC 22000 certification framework and its essential packaging requirements before guest speaker Nerida Kelton from WPO presents award-winning packaging solutions that balance food waste reduction, product protection, and environmental impact. Nerida will discuss innovative packaging design elements — such as functionality, accessibility, and shelf-life extension — that ensure packaging both preserves food and minimizes waste across the supply chain.
Time will be allocated for a Q&A session at the end of the webinar.
