Darin Thompson
South-Midwest Territory Manager
Darin Thompson is the South-Midwest territory manager for Wittmann USA, covering Texas and the surrounding states. Originally from Idaho, Darin moved to California 36 years ago to enter the plastics industry, starting his career as a field service technician first working for a rep. agency named Wes'pec then for the Conair Group, covering 10 western states. After 15 years of installing robots and auxiliary equipment, he switched to sales, starting work for Wittmann in 2003 as a regional manager covering an eight-state Midwest territory. During his time in the industry, he has also served as a maintenance manager and automation engineer at injection molding production facilities.
