The global shift toward sustainability and decarbonization is paving the way for high-performance materials with a small carbon footprint and strong recycling potential. Thermoplastic cores made with polypropylene foam (XPP) for composite sandwich structures are suitable for a variety of applications, including RVs, caravans, trucks, trailers, aircraft interiors, furniture, construction and automotive interiors. This webinar will explore the potential for XPP cores in composites manufacturing and the application of HARDEX, a new XPP core material. We will explain how HARDEX, because it is a mono-material, can be easily thermoformed, cut and joined, thus saving composites fabricators significant time and labor compared to traditional core systems.
