Dave Aichele
EVP Business Development, Akoustis
Dave Aichele is the Executive Vice President of Business Development responsible for leading the sales and marketing efforts of the company. Dave joined the company in May 2015, bringing over 25 years of international sales, business development, and marketing experience with him. Prior to Akoustis, Dave was EVP Sales & Marketing for T1V, a high-tech software start-up company achieving 2014 INC 500 fastest growing private companies in the US. Dave held Director positions at RF Micro Devices, Inc. (previously, now Qorvo), where he was responsible for the business development and launch of new RF semiconductor products targeting the cellular market, as well as senior management positions at Tessera and TE Connectivity, where he led business development and sales teams. Dave holds a BSEE from Ohio University and an MBA from the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado.

Kamran Cheema
Chief Product Officer, Akoustis
Kamran Cheema joined Akoustis in August 2021 as Vice President Engineering with over 25 years of experience in acoustic technology. Kamran is responsible for the device engineering and product design teams as well as testing, characterization, and mechanical design of all Akoustis products. Before joining Akoustis, Kamran was the Vice President Engineering at Qualcomm RF360, where he managed all aspects of micro-acoustic hardware solutions for the mobile phone market. Prior to Qualcomm, Cheema held positions at TDK, Vice President of Engineering and Site Manager, where he reported directly to the CEO. At TDK, he led a team of professionals, including filter module and switch designers, SAW and BAW filter designers, and laminate and LTCC specialists. Earlier, Cheema worked at TriQuint Semiconductor, now part of Qorvo, as a Director of Engineering, where he oversaw the development of acoustic duplexers, the RF module team, GaAs pHEMT and SOI switch development. Kamran Cheema holds a MSEE from the University of Central Florida.
