Vice President, Hotel Revenue Optimization for South Asia, Middle East, Africa & Australasia for Preferred Hotels & Resorts

C.S. Ramachandran (Ram) serves as Vice President, Hotel Revenue Optimization for South Asia, Middle East, Africa & Australasia for Preferred Hotels & Resorts. He is charged with helping the brand’s member hotels maximize the effectiveness of their online distribution channels and optimize revenue through better revenue strategies. In this position, he also guides member hotels in the region on e-marketing, data interpretation, and pricing strategies along with MIS, which help them, make informed business decisions.

Ram has over 22 years of rich expertise in hotel management, the majority of which has been dedicated to revenue management. His key interests include business analytics, business strategy, distribution, online marketing, sales, and customer relationship management. Prior to joining Preferred Hotels & Resorts, Ram served as Assistant Vice President of E-Marketing for The Oberoi Group, responsible for the group’s digital marketing strategy with a focus on maximizing e-commerce revenues. He is based in New Delhi.
Joy Ghosh

Regional Vice President – India & Subcontinent TravelClick, an Amadeus company

Joy is the Regional Vice President of TravelClick’s India & Subcontinent region which includes India, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Myanmar, Mauritius etc. Joy looks after the strategic interests of TravelClick in the region and has a strong customer base in hotel distribution, Business Intelligence, CRM and Digital Marketing.

Before joining TravelClick, he was a hotelier in India covering Sales & Marketing, Distribution and
Revenue Management in various hotel groups like Hyatt, Accor, Leela and Oberoi Hotels and
Resorts. Joy has two decades of experience and started his career with a Japanese multinational in International Trading after completing his hotel school from India.

Parikshit Choudhury

Parikshit has over 18 years of hardcore large PnL / PRODUCT /TECHNOLOGY/ SALES/ BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT experience across geographies, with organizations like GE,makemytrip.com, goibibo.com, magicbricks.com, MRF Tyres etc.He is a Growth and Change Leader who successfully scaled the goibibo hotels business and managed integration of the same with makemytrip at a later stage. Parikshit has in-dept understanding of business strategies, People,Product and PnL management (3Ps) in internet and brick & mortar companies. An expert in data driven decision making, he is equally adept in devising broad level strategies and then translating them into executable action items.

Change Leadership : Post the makemytrip-goibibo merger, he led the Seller facing technology and team integration effort. This integration was completed quickly and the team that Parikshit led was recognized by the founding team through an org-level award, for formulating the strategy and back it with seamless execution.

Growth Leadership : In goibibo, Parikshit built the "best in the industry" Category and Seller Services Organization, in record 12 months time, for the lucrative Hotels Business. He was instrumental in formulating and institutionalizing a PnL based PLAYBOOK for the sellers (hoteliers). The Playbook ensured, the best in industry margins, inventory availability, pricing parity and seller discipline.It had also helped immensely in improving "unit economics" for the Hotels business at the transactional level. He was awarded the Dream Leader (goibibo's highest leadership award) in 2015 for his exceptional all round leadership.As AVP and Zonal Head - Sales – North & East, in GE, he led a field sales force of 700 people. His immediate team consisted of 3 Regional Sales Managers & 7 Area Sales Managers. In 3years’ time, he was able to create a strong team and robust sales processes that over achieved operating plan, month on month!Currently, Parikshit is a part of the core leadership team of mmt& goibibo and after a successful stint in leading the combined India Hotels Business Development team now builds the Ground Transportation (GT) Business. The GT Business consists of multiple growth LOBs like Rails, Metro, Intercity Cabs, Airport Cabs, Bus etc.

Devinder Kumar has studied Revenue Management and Dynamic Pricing from IIM, Ahmedabad and is a hotel management graduate from IHM, Shimla. With 19 years of experience under his belt, Devinder came on board Lemon Tree Hotels in year 2010 and has been contributing to the Revenue Management and Distribution Team ever since. He has also handled diverse responsibilities in Operations & Sales across hotel brands like ITC, Starwood, Marriott and The Grand, New Delhi.
Mr. Kamal Kishore

Revenue Manager, RedSky Hospitality

Kamal Kishore has been associated with Hospitality Industry for over 18 years.
Majority of his experience has been in The United Kingdom with Intercontinental Hotels Group.
Kamal has worked in various roles like Cluster Revenue Manager with IHG Hotels at Heathrow Airport, IHG - Revenue Development and Training for Europe Middle East and Africa, working closely with over 650 hotels.
His very first job in India was with The Lalit Suri Hospitality group as Corporate Head, Revenue Management and Channel Distribution.
Kamal pioneered a new concept of Revenue Management for Hire in India back in 2011.
He has been working for over 7 years with hotels in India, Australia, New Zealand and other countries , supporting them to optimise Revenues in this complex world of Online Channels.
