Abstract: IBM Business Automation Insights (BAI) provides visual insights and feeds a data lake to infuse artificial intelligence into IBM Cloud Pak for Automation. Business owners can thus benefit from powerful analytics capabilities, such as viewing your business data in dashboards, and using an HDFS data lakes for data science applications.
The session will introduce the concepts, architecture and strategy of IBM BAI. It includes a demo on how to specify business content transmitted via events and how these can be analyzed, aggregated and used in queries. The later ones are the basis for visualization accessible via BAI dashboards using Kibana. The dashboards display operational metrics and KPIs based on the Cloud Pak for Automation products emitting these events or business-related metrics used to ensure that the outputs meet an organization’s goals in an effective, efficient, and repeatable manner.
