After achieving a master’s degree in chemical engineering, Selma further expanded her knowledge with a post-master’s degree in Life Sciences Innovation Management & Marketing at Neoma Business School. Selma joined the Global Marketing Beauty & Personal Care team in 2020 as an intern to support the various marketing projects. In 2021, she was appointed as Global Marketing Intelligence Manager and her responsibilities include the collection, analysis and reporting of trends, market and consumer data as well as competition analysis.

Carmen Gutierrez

International Product Manager and Active Ingredients Specialist at IMCD Beauty & Personal Care

Carmen holds a master degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Barcelona, a master degree in Pharmaceutical Microbiologist from IUCT and a master degree in Sales and Marketing Management from the EAE Business School.

She is a member of the Scientific Comitee at The Spanish Society of Cosmetic Chemists, published more than 20 scientific papers and 2 patents in delivery systems and peptide synthesis.
