Saar Davidi

Innovation Director, Automation, Ranpak

Saar has been the Global Innovation Director Automation for Ranpak Automation since early 2021.

Working on FC Automation solutions, the new age automation systems, and sustainable product innovations. Saar has worked for Catch Group in the role of DC’s manager and Fulfilment Projects Manager for nine years.

This period saw the company grow significantly becoming Australia's leading online retailer and going from a small DC of 1,200 sqm to operating out of two MCG sized facilities totaling about 90,000 sqm.
Saar is also a believer in continuous education and has initiated many logistics and leadership-based training programs at the DCs and follows this ethos himself, completing a degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from RMIT.

His philosophy can be best summed up in the statement " Question everything. Just because something is a certain way doesn't mean we have to keep doing it that way."

Richard Whetton

Head of Ecommerce Fulfilment, Australia Post

Richard moved to Australia in 2004 and joined Harper Collins setting up a dedicated DVD distribution facility in Sydney, before running all the distribution and fulfilment activities for them in the roles of Distribution Director. Moving to Just Group in 2011 Richard took on the role of GM of Global distribution and oversaw all the activities in the supply chain required to get the product from the manufacturer (in China, India etc.) into the retail stores or direct to the consumer for ecommerce.

In 2016 Richard moved to Catch.com.au (then Catch of the Day) and successfully oversaw their fulfilment activities for the next six years, expanding the total size of the operation and the automation capability to allow for the exponential growth Catch underwent in this period.

At the start of 2022 Richard moved to Australia Post and has been overseeing operations in their fulfilment businesses since then.

Across the course of this career Richard has been responsible for many modernisation, optimisation and automation process improvements, always leading with a view to what the future will require.

Jordan Ross

Jordan is the Senior Operations Manager. In his 14 years at Catch, Jordan gained experience with various automation systems such as Knapp multi shuttle, Korber AMR and Swisslog Autostore, as well as Boxsizer and Evo packing solutions.
