It’s no secret that insurance has a talent problem. A pretty major one to be more precise. Despite the efforts of HR teams around the world, insurers are still struggling to attract talent to their organisations and, in the midst of mass digital transformation, this is hampering insurers’ abilities to carry out change at the required pace. This, of course, isn’t a brand new problem. Not many people graduate from higher education thinking that they want to step into the world of insurance but combine that with the difficulty of training and retaining millennials and the problem grows even bigger. It expands further when you take into account that many insurance professionals are likely to retire within the next 10 years.
So, how do we address this? Well we’ve brought together one of the world’s leading executive coaches to dive into this crucial issue. Sanyin Siang, whose experience teaching leaders how to build incredible teams spans almost two decades, will be joined by Prudential Financial’s Chief Talent & Capability Officer, Vicki Walia, to discuss how to attract and retain the hottest talent from around the world to make sure those innovative projects come to fruition.
