About This Webinar
Succeeding in Health ICT in a time of flux
It is a challenging but exciting time for the Health ICT market.
The Australian states and territories signed the $131 billion National Health Reform Agreement in May 2020. This may have guaranteed a substantial fraction of their budgets, but it will not be enough to make up for the revenue shortfall brought on by COVID-19.
The Health sector must now adapt to this fiscal pressure on its operating costs, while dealing with the immediate impact of the pandemic. This will require healthcare providers to transform the sector along new service-delivery lines, making innovative use of telehealth, advanced logistics, and ubiquitous connectivity.
Our principal analyst Judy Hurditch will take you through the current level of digital transformation of the public sector healthcare system, and will provide insights as to the market’s future direction.
Agenda
What are the pressures on the public healthcare system, and what opportunities do they provide for the ICT market?
What are the necessary enabling technologies, and are they currently in place?
What areas of healthcare services delivery using innovative technology are governments likely to focus on?
