She has both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. She is known as a relationship builder that enjoys learning about people and the stories of their life. Julie has been an adjunct faculty member at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and served as an advisor at a fraternity for three years. While Julie was living in Washington, DC in 2014 she was sexually assaulted and is now an advocate for sexual assault survivors. As a result of her assault she has survived PTSD, depression, and anxiety. Sharing her story helps her to continue to heal.
