Cheryl is an engaging speaker who shows audiences that true achievement is found on the way to winning gold. A focus on “Growing for Gold” reminds us of the necessary attention to detail within our daily journey.
Cheryl believes that our actions and values have a direct impact on our team and affects the culture of our group. As individuals, we must learn to self- observe, share information and be accountable to our performance, resulting in an efficient and more productive team. Our environment is constantly changing and therefore, we must adapt, and get uncomfortable. We have a choice to engage in our role and seize the various opportunities our environment presents us with. Consistent learning allows us to grow towards excellence.
Cheryl played on six of Canada’s World Championship Hockey Teams where she was named an All-star defenseman in 2005. Cheryl was also voted the top defenseman at the 2002, 2004, 2005 (MVP) and 2007 Canadian National Hockey Championships. Her greatest career accomplishments are her two Olympic Gold medals from the Salt Lake City and Torino Olympic Games.
Currently, Cheryl is working for TSN/CBC as a hockey analyst. Her most re-cent work includes the 2018 Olympic Winter Games and 2019 World Championships.
