ABOUT THIS WEBINAR
The name Six Sigma is a registered trade mark of Motorola. They introduced the methodology in the 80’s. Many Quality improvement experts consider Six Sigma to be the most popular management method in history.
What began as a movement to improve Quality is now being used as an ‘overall’ methodology to improve business performance. Six Sigma focuses on reducing variation in business processes. It has been deployed across multiple industry sectors like Manufacturing, Services, BPO’s, Banks, healthcare, Government, Prisons, Armed Forces etc. It is used right from the Design phase, through manufacturing, delivery and Sales & Marketing processes. The emphasis is on fact and data driven problem solving using a variety of Statistics Analysis.
Unlike Lean, Six Sigma is a top down process to help organizations align their improvement efforts to business strategy using a team based approach to problem solving. This accelerates the achievement of business results while creating Problem solving expertise within the teams.
This is the online channel by Kaizen Institute India, South Asia and Africa to share knowledge and certification programs on KAIZEN™, Lean, Operational Excellence, Business Excellence, Change Management and other improvement techniques
